- Previously volunteered as a tutor in high school - Was in a leadership/teaching position in music class - Scored a 5 (highest possible score) on AP English Literature & Composition test - Completed the French language curriculum by junior year in high school ------ My focus within my major is Education, and I really love passing on knowledge and seeing the look on someone's face when a concept finally "clicks". I'm good at teaching with a variety of different approaches, depending on what makes sense to my pupil. I'm not the kind to stick to one static style of teaching; I tailor my lessons and manner to each of my pupils to suit their personalities and needs. I don't get frustrated if a student is not understanding something, as long as they are genuinely trying. I draw my teaching energy both from within myself and from my student.
